The weather has been fantastic. We have been out working in the garden daily and it has come on leaps and bounds. We garden on clay so the ground holds water well but only for so long. We then started watering but the water butts ran dry so we then refilled than but they ran dry again so we resorted to careful watering with a hose.
We continue to eat salads out of the garden and rhubarb. The gooseberries are coming and the black currants are set. It is now raining so hopefully the soft fruit will progress well.
