The last two weeks as ever have been full. The picture above is a new find of mine. Cuisinpro make these handsoap dispensers where you use 25% soap and 75% water mixed. This immediately cuts down on soap use, makes hand washing easier, the kids love it because it is bubbly and there is no soap residue running down the soap dispenser or clogging under it. It is also designed with a sucker on the bottom so it stays where you put it. I got mine in the sale at £4.99 which has a pay back of about a year. The full price is £12.99 but that will take longer to pay back.
We have also been looking for a new mattress for our 11 year old son. His previous mattress was from his toddler days and was far too soft. Rather than scrapping the matress we have handed it on to home aid a local charity who furnish homeless people.
We continue to harvest salad, courgettes, beans, kale, cabbage and make black currant wine and raspberry jam. It is such a full time of year.
