Otherwise we have got gooseberries in at the allotment, the potatoes are coming up and we are eating rhubarb, onions, and leeks from the garden. The tomato plants are growing nicely.
We also picked up a couple of new egg laying chickens to replace the two that died. It is that bizare mix of sadness at the loss mixed with the hope for the two new additions. We are keeping them in their run for at least a week until they are used to the space and the four existing egg layers have become a little tolerant of them.
