However, the bathroom will have it's floor insulated dispite being inaccessible from below. We have found a corrosion point in the soil pipe, under the 40 year old bath. So bath needs to be removed which won't improve it's longevity so we are biting the bullet and redoing the bathroom. Argh. It has to be seen as an opportunity to lift the floor, insulate below and then put down water resisitant tongued and grooved chipboard flooring, but I could see it far enough.
