Our chickens are starting to tolerate each other better and all six are out feeding together. The new buck is gradually becoming more confident with our daughter who takes the lead role with the rabbits. The doe who has myxomatosis despite being immunised, is starting to recover. Her eyes had lost fur round them this has now regrown and the lesion on her nose looks like it is healing and will then fall off.
As you know I have been really disappointed with our food production this year. However, I think some of this is due to our usual staple crops failing to such an extent that I am still buying vegetables. However, today I produced a lunch essentially fully home grown so we can't be doing too bad.
On the window we have made little progress, some quotes but no decisions. I have started transplanting chicory for the winter and planted winter salad in the greenhouse so maybe we can pick things up a bit later in the year.
