The website is virtually ready to be published. It has taken a lot of work to pull togather the bits so far, and there is so much more to write. I don't want to wait forever though to publish, if there is a problem with the way I am building it I need to know sooner rather than later. I now realise why people publish their websites half built.
So what are we doing this week in Central Scotland?
Well, we are clearing the bees out of the honey chamber (super) of the beehive, so we can temporarily remove it and treat them for a destructive mite that virtually all bees in the UK have called Varroa. We are using Apistan this year.
We have also been collecting eggs, beans - runner, salad, peas, raspberries, carrots and potatoes. I have been making ketchup and chutney with greengages we were given and we are waiting for the final ones to be ready for jam and we may try wine . You pick them green.
