We have also ordered our new window replacement which with any luck will be in by Christmas.
However, the most noticeable thing about this week is that we have had time. Normally, when we have a week at home on holiday we work from dawn till dusk and I have no idea at the end of the holiday what we have really achieved. This week we have clearly made achievements but we have also watched several films, dusted down some board games and last night we even sat infront of the fire and read for a couple of hours. This sounds very middle aged until you realise we have never had time to do this unless on holiday. So how come? Some is the fact that we aren't moving as much stuff round in the house but I think the other big thing this week is we have banned electronic games ( for us all) other than joint games. This has created enough spare time for us all to play Wii fit in a morning and me to do 30 minutes yoga. I am very aware I am a convert, but cutting out un used stuff and unnecessary time users has made a noticeable difference. I just hope it will last!
