Bottles

We make our own hedge row wines, not that we would ask anyone else to drink it. We like it but it isn't a French Bordeau! In 2009 I spent many weeks collecting screw top wine bottles, washing them and soaking the labels off and then stored them in boxes.
This resulted in a pile of boxes which we seem to be forever moving or rumaging. I therefore decided to build a bottle rack, to store both the empty and the full bottles. This now means less glass recycling, and less cost. Bottles could also be used for storing other liquids such as homemade cordials and flavoured oils. The doctor in me would ask that poisonous fluids are never placed in containers that previously container, or are marked as containing food. Children poisoned this way is more common than you would expect.
